¿What is an empanada?
Empanadas are hand-sized savory pies that can be found all over South America. In Argentina, every province has its own variety. They all follow the same basic culinary guideline — a soft pocket of dough that’s stuffed with a lovely, savory filling.
For Argentine people, ’empanadas’ are much more than just a meal.
An empanada is an excuse to get together with friends and family and to enjoy each other’s company whilst sharing a delicious bite to eat.
